Life Changes with MS -

Rate ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I quietly made a big change in September, and on the advice of my neurologist and with the support of my family, I stopped working full-time. I've done this so quietly, even most of my fellow-MS experts here as don't yet know this news.

As someone who went through this or made this decision after a successful career of 30 years within the same industry and growing within that industry, this was without a doubt the most painful and difficult decision I've ever had to make since my diagnosis 15 years ago. It's still very painful (in tears as I type this right now…) to this day and will forever be that way. The key going forward is to stay active doing hobbies, extra reading, website activity or whatever occupies your time so you don't DWELL on your symptoms or feelings of negativity that accompany depression!

This is that point in time whereby your life changes and you have to learn to accept that as you replace your previous life with new challenges and expectations. You can do it!

Belief in something not yet learned can be possible…jefff
