Need to be careful and monitor continually! This oral medication usually starts out once per day, but can be taken up 3x per day pending seizure control. Very good for anti-seizure control as well as minimal pain management efforts. All in all, a very decent drug for controlling seizures, but you have to "journal" your history with the drug so your Doctor can stay informed and log your experiences for future reference…KEY!!!

Oh yeah, is causes you to be very sleepy/groggy for up to 24 hours.
